De colaboração com os Drs. S. Oliva, J. A. Teixeira e o Prof. Doutor N. Canha - 4O Autor - (THE JOURNAL OF BONE AND JOINT SURGERY, Supl III, 267, 1995).
Seventy five cases are described. The main objective was to get rid of infection and then after debridement, an external fixator was applied.    After elimination of infection, a cast was applied for 60 days and if bony union was not achieved, corticotomy was perfomed. Again, if unsuccessful, an intramedullary nail was inserted. Healing was achieved in 73 cases.
